Delete your Atlas account

Atlas, by Gambit Solutions. How to permanently delete your Atlas account and the data linked to it, with or without the app.

Deleting your Atlas account does not cancel your subscription. Atlas Pro is billed by Apple (App Store) or Google Play. Cancelling is a separate step you take with them. If you have an active subscription, cancel it with the store, or it may keep renewing. Uninstalling Atlas does not delete your account either.

Request deletion without the app

You do not need to install or open Atlas. Email us from the address you used to register and we will delete your account.

What to include: the email address of your Atlas account (send from that address), and the words “delete my Atlas account”. Never send your password; we will never ask for it. To protect your account we may reply to confirm the request is yours before deleting anything.

Deletion requests are handled manually by our team, not automatically.

Or delete it in the app

  1. Open Atlas and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile and scroll to Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and read the warning.
  4. Enter your password to confirm, then tap Permanently delete my account.

You are signed out and your account is deleted straight away.

What happens when your account is deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The following Atlas data is deleted:

  • Your Atlas login and account.
  • Your profile and preferences (diet, allergens, dislikes, equipment, budget, cuisines).
  • Your pantry, saved recipes and shopping lists.
  • Your daily AI-usage counter and your subscription-status record.
  • Your Atlas Pro customer record at our subscription provider, RevenueCat.

What we may keep, and what is not ours to delete

  • Information we are legally required to keep, if any, and for as long as the law requires.
  • Your App Store or Google Play subscription and purchase records. These belong to Apple or Google, not Atlas.

You can create a new account later, but your previous data will not come back.

Cancel your subscription separately

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Atlas → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Atlas → Cancel subscription.
  • In Atlas: Profile → Manage subscription (opens the right store page).

Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Do this whether you delete your account first or after.
